Meh.

My name is Daniel. I'm a film student and consider this a creative outlet for the random.

Land Lady.

I’ve discovered recently upon dealing with an irrational and non-sensical Land Lady to no longer fight, but embrace the arguments and turmoil I face. Since moving from the property I have discovered it is not “acceptable” in accordance with her standards.

This embrace of the “fight” puts me at risk. Risk, as it looks as if am to be deducted a somewhat large sum of money (for a student such as myself) from a deposit. Now, it is easy to say that perhaps the house is not in accordance and I am at fault. I say this is not true, as do a number of other tenants. These same accusations are from a lady that assigned blame on me when the house was burgled. I burgled my own house. I also stole my own Iphone. And don’t get me started about the time my house mate stole his own laptop.

During correspondence with one another I have discovered the joy in replying to every one of her emails in a bullet point fashion. I do so in a number of ways; quoting her ramblings back to her and dissecting them in a well worded fashion so as to sound as patronising as possible (school was not kind to her, her grasp of the English Language is questionable). Also, correcting her grammar is about as much fun as I can have without becoming a cynical pissed off school teacher, and I try to do so as regularly as possible.

It now seems as though I’ve become settled in the fact I have lost money. Angry? Yes, yes I am. However, I look at it now as a learning experience. The lesson here is this: do not trust nor have dealings with crazy bitches*.

Ramble Over.

*  ”crazy bitches” refers to a state of mind and in no way alludes to gender.
